I hate Tony Horton. He has got to be one of the most obnoxious assholes on the face of the earth. That being said I cannot argue with the results of this program. I look different every day. A look in the nitrite helps me to turn on that DVD player and force myself through another 60+ mins of workout. Another source of motivation comes from an unlikely source, a coworker telling me that I'm not extreme enough for P90X and I should just do P90. We'll see if that theory holds up over the next 80 days. I feel like I can do anything right now.
You can't skip a day. You would never be able to catch up.
With regards to solid foods, I immediately started to eat meat again though my diet is mostly vegan now a days. No intention of becoming a full on vegan but I can attest to the fact that I do feel a lot better eating less than half a pound of meet per day. This seems like it should have been harder, taken longer.
"But imagine for a moment if we knew, strictly as a matter of course, these few unremarkable things: What it is we're eating. Where it came from. How it found its way to our table. And what, in true accounting, it really cost... We eat by the grace of nature, not industry, and what we're eating is never anything more or less than the body of the world."
